GSSB is a well-established German language school serving more than 500 students from pre-K through 12th grade. Our classes meet on 30 Saturdays from September through May, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, at Diamond Middle School in Lexington, MA. Some afternoon attendance for faculty meetings is required.

 

We are looking for two enthusiastic and engaging teachers to lead one of our kindergarten and middle school classes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, creates a warm and playful learning environment, and is passionate about helping children build confidence in the German language and culture.

 

Our curriculum supports students at all levels, from early childhood through advanced language study. Older and advanced students have the opportunity to prepare for internationally recognized German language exams, including the IVA A2 and the Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD).

 

 

Qualifications

 

• Native or native-like fluency in German

• Experience teaching German or another language

• Experience working with young children

• Teaching degree or early childhood education background preferred

• Flexible, reliable, and collaborative personality

• Passion for teaching and sharing German language and culture
