Galli Theater from New York visits GSSB again!

On October 11, our younger students in Kindergarten through 4th grade are in for a magical treat!  Galli Theater New York will bring the beloved fairy tale “Die Prinzessin auf der Erbse” (The Princess and the Pea) to life right here in our auditorium. 

Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale has captivated generations with its simple yet meaningful message. On the surface, it’s a whimsical story about a young woman whose royal identity is revealed by her sensitivity to a tiny pea hidden beneath layers of mattresses. But when read aloud and reflected upon, the tale opens doors to deeper lessons that remain relevant today.

At its heart, the story is about authenticity and the importance of being true to oneself. Just as a small pea — a humble plant seed — was capable of uncovering the truth, so too can seemingly small details…
